I love our Audimute panels! We're using them in a high ceilinged studio over the garage where I hold acting classes and there was too much echo. I received great support from the company while I was choosing products and deciding on the number. The delivery was pretty quick and the product exceeds expectations. Installation fairly straightforward,...Read MoreRead more about I love our Audimute panels! We're

Installing the panels made a noticeable difference. We are a yacht club and have monthly cocktail parties during the winter (our off season). The color choices made our space aesthetically pleasing as well. We love them!

Q: The person in the office next to me can hear everyone I am saying and I often have conversations that need to be private. If I install these on my side of the wall and also on his side of the wall will it dampen the conversation to where he cannot hear what I am saying?

A: Hi Andrew, Great Questions! By installing fabric acoustic panels in your office, you are reducing the overall volume of sound and echo created in the space and the same would go for if you installed panels in your co-workers office, it would reduce their sound from being heard in your space. It does require a specific amount of treatment though in each space. It all depends on the size of the space and where your voice is projecting from. You should fill out one of our acoustical room analysis forms so our specialists can help you determine the proper amount of coverage for each of the spaces, or at least for your office to reduce your sound properly. You can fill out that room form here : audimute.com/large-space-analysis-form or give us a call at : 1.866.505.MUTE. We are happy to assist you further!

Q: Hi! We have a townhome with a shared wall that is only 1" drywall, a thin slab of Styrofoam, and the neighbors drywall between us. The space is too small to blow any insulation in. Needless to say, the noise bleed between us is terrible. We can hear talking, TV, everything. Would acoustic panels dampen the sound or do we need a different product? The wall is 60 feet long by 8 feet tall. Any advice would be greatly helpful. Thank you.

A: Acoustic Panels are not the correct solution for sound blocking applications. Containing or blocking sound typically requires construction of a high STC wall system. Our favorite method is layering 3.2mm Peacemaker and new 5/8” drywall. Wall penetrations, HVAC, and other variables need to be review prior to implementing a solution.

Q: Can these panels double as a bulletin board? Not for heavy use, just to pin a few personal items in a home office. I can't tell if push pins would hold in the material.

A: Thanks for reaching out! Yes, lightweight items should hold well, however, we cannot guarantee the application. Feel free to try one of our FR701 Sample Packs.
