Fabric Acoustic Panels make it easy to incorporate acoustics into your décor. Whether it’s for home or work, you’re sure to find a solution to match your needs with Audimute.
Our panels were designed with large-scale applications and high-traffic spaces in mind; they're ideal for schools and commercial spaces. Each panel is custom cut and wrapped in your fabric choice for a tight border without using a metal frame. This straight-edge fabric finish makes it easy to butt panels next to each other to build your acoustic design to any size.
What you see is as important as what you hear. Choose a fabric color that will blend into your current design for a subtle change in your décor, or a few colors to stand out on a focal wall.
The core of our acoustic panels is made from Audimute’s signature eco-C-tex® sound absorption material. This eco-friendly blend of recycled cotton and cellulose fibers, the majority of which is post-consumer recycled newspaper, is the greenest alternative to traditional fiberglass insulation, requiring 1/10 of the energy to produce.

These panels did wonders to tame the sound in my home studio. The fit and finish are great and installation was straightforward using the included hang tabs and hardware. Highly recommend if you’re experiencing unwanted distortion or slapback.

Q: I have a small 20’by40’ gym that has a turf floor. Looking for some panels to put along 2 carpeted walls more as decorative and maybe a little sound absorption.
Do you have any panels that are on clearance or “ irregulars”?

Q: what is the difference between Panels and Planks?

A: Great question Michelle! Our Panels are all 1.50" thick with their coating, fabric, or printed material on the top and four edges of the Panel, while the Planks, like the Tiles, are 1" thick, only finished on the top surface, and able to be cut with a utility blade.

Q: I live in a newly built condo and the wall to our bedroom is shared with our neighbors living room wall. We hear way too much and want to block sound coming through the wall. I want to use FABRIC ACOUSTIC PANELS - ANCHORAGE. The wall is 12ft wide by 8ft high. I want to use the 3x3 size panels. Will that help?

A: Thank you for coming to Audimute George!
Please note that most of our options, such as our Fabric Panels and Acoustic Accents can very effectively absorb echo and improve the sound within a space, but these materials by their nature are not highly effective at preventing the transfer of sound out of a structure. When sound transfers through a wall, it causes the materials in the wall to vibrate and resonate the sound to the other side, where absorption materials cannot effectively prevent its escape.
Unfortunately, to prevent a structure from transferring sound, more intensive work on the structure is generally required for dramatic results. If you are able to perform construction in your space, applying our 3.2 mm Peacemaker Sound Barrier over the full shared wall could create a very effective barrier, with the final result not altering the appearance of your home at all.
I hope that this information helps and encourage you to reach our specialists through our online forms or at (866) 505-MUTE for further assistance finding a solution for you!
